SOASUPL - Viewing Self-Reported Information

 

Use the Application Supplemental Information form (SOASUPL) to view an applicant's intended visa status, country of birth, and I-20 information along with self-reported information.

Note: Contact the Office of International Students for more information.

 

Follow these directions to view information in SOASUPL:

  • From the Banner Main menu, type the form name in the Go To... box press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

  • The form is displayed. If necessary, search for the person. See Searching for a Person by ID or Name for more information.
  • Type the term code corresponding to the term for which the student submitted their application in the Term field.
  • If known, type the application number in the Application Number field for the application you want to view.
    Note: Alternately, click the Application Number field Search button to view and select an application from a list of applications. See Viewing a Summary List of Applications for more information.

  • Click the Next Block button twice on the toolbar.

  • The User Defined Flags and Fields block is populated with the intended visa status, country of citizenship, I-9 (work permit) information, and when the I-20 (permit to be in the U.S.) information was sent to the applicant by the Office of Admissions.
    Note: The User Defined Flags and Fields Block shows intended visa status, country of citizenship, I-20 information and various other information from the application. Flags will have a Y (student/applicant reported information) or an N.
    1. Eagle Leadership: $500 award available to new freshmen. the applicant must show leadership in High school. Applied for on the EMU application.
    2. Bridge: Allows an international applicant with a three year Bachelor's degree to be admitted as graduate student and make up to 30 credits missing from the total required undergraduate credits.

  • When you are finished, click the Exit button on the toolbar to return to the Banner Main menu.
